OutReach
The ministries of this church are the life blood of the church. You will want to become involved where your spiritual needs can be fulfilled and where you can share what God has done in your life. Whether it is joining in community service or becoming part of the youth group we want you to find a place to serve and a place to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Make sure you check out the ministry opportunities in the tabs above and see where God can use you.

Personal Ministries
Leader - Jeff Borger
Ocala church members are actively promoting their faith through personal ministries. From homeless outreach to nursing home visits, the Ocala Seventh-day Adventist church is always looking at ways to tell the good news about Christ.
Our members are proud distributors of GLOW tracts, which proclaim the gospel and other Christian related messages to our friends and neighbors.
We also are spreading Bible truth on the air via our friends at WRGE, a local radio station at 97.9 FM.

Deaf Ministry
Leader - Jerry Sutton

Amanda Raices - Signer
Welcome to the deaf and deaf-blind!
Signers are available for religious signing.
History:
Because several deaf people have been attending our church services a new “Deaf Ministry” was created under the guidance of Jerry Sutton. Over the past few years Jerry has been faithfully signing to our deaf guests.
Two of our young ladies, Amanda Raices and Jeanette Ortega, have picked up this skill and they carried on with the signing. Winnie Tunison (also pictured) is a Seventh-day Adventist who is both blind and deaf. The Lord provided two young ladies who were able to tactile sign (messaging by tapping the hand) for Winnie.
As I consider this I see the New Testament spiritual gift of speaking in tongues. “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance...Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another… ‘And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?’” Acts. 2:4, 7-8. What a blessing we have been given! Each Sabbath the message is signed in the language of the deaf and blind. P T L!
Let’s pray that this ministry will grow and we can provide these messages to many. And let us be thankful for Jerry, Amanda, and Jeanette and the wonderful spiritual gift that has been given to these people.
Amazed and thankful,
Dave Swinyar
